REPRESENTASI EKOKRITIK SASTRA DALAM ANTOLOGI PUISI ALAM NEGERIKU KARYA SUGENG RAHAYU

Abstract

This research aimed to describe: (1) the form of representation of literary ecocriticism in the poetry anthology Alam Negeriku by Sugeng Rahayu. This study is a descriptive qualitative study. This study focuses on the analysis of aspects of Lawrence Buell's literary ecocriticism in the form of: the history of non-human elements, the legitimacy of the interests of non-human elements towards humans, human responsibility towards nature, and the dynamics of nature. The data source for this study comes from excerpts from the poetry anthology Alam Negeriku by Sugeng Rahayu. The research instrument is the researcher himself supported by data recording cards, and reading the entire poetry anthology. The data collection techniques used are literature studies, reading, and taking notes. The results of this study conclude that: (1) there are four aspects of Lawrence Buell's literary ecocriticism in the form of: (a) the history of non-human elements; (b) the legitimacy of non-human elements towards humans; (c) human responsibility towards nature; (d) the dynamics of nature. These four aspects are shown through the depiction of the relationship between humans and the natural environment. This representation is shown through the use of elements of the natural environment, such as: forests, rivers, soil, plants, animals, which have an important role in the poetry anthology Alam Negeriku by Sugeng Rahayu
