HABLUMINALLAH DALAM NOVEL ASSALAMUALAIKUM BAITULLAH KARYA ASMA NADIA (KAJIAN STRUKTURAL)

Abstract

This study aims to describe the form of hablumminallah in the novel Assalamualaikum Baitullah by Asma Nadia. The aspects of hablumminallah analyzed include repentance, patience, gratitude, tawakal (trust), sincerity, and raja' (relief). This novel tells the story of characters who face life's trials and find peace through closeness to Allah SWT, thus becoming a reflection of religious values for readers. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method with content analysis techniques. The research data were obtained from quotations in the novel that show the representation of six aspects of hablumminallah. The data were classified based on the indicators of each aspect and analyzed in depth to find the religious meaning contained therein. The results show that this novel represents hublumminallah as a whole through the spiritual journey of its characters, especially in facing sadness, despair, until finally finding hope by surrendering to Allah. These values inspire readers to strengthen their faith, be sincere, patient, and tawakal in facing life's trials. Theoretically, this research contributes to the development of religious literary studies and novel appreciation, while practically, this research is expected to enrich character education based on Islamic values.
