ASPEK-ASPEK KEBUDAYAAN DAERAH DALAM NOVEL TENUN BIRU KARYA UGI AGUSTONO J

Abstract

Literary work is a form of creative art and the work of the object is human and his life, using language as a medium. Ugi Agustono J. using human and all kinds of life, then gave birth to the work of the novel as a reflection of life. Novel weaving Blue mengadung norms of human life lived in existence in the world, the human is a medium to convey an idea, a theory or system of thought but also a medium to accommodate the ideas, theories and systems of human thought. Problems in the study include, (1) Forms of cultural aspects in the area of setting the story in the novel Weaving Blue work of Ugi Agustono J. (2) The functions of the regional culture in setting the story in the novel Weaving Blue work of Ugi Agustono J. Disclosure cultural aspects will be analyzed using sociological approach to literature. Sociological approach is deemed appropriate literature to analyze culture. The method used is descriptive qualitative. Data sources such as text novel Weaving Blue works Ugi Agustono J. is captured through the corpus of data, then analyzed, described, and interpreted. Based on the analysis of the cultural aspects of the novel Weaving Blue illustrated that, (1) Forms of cultural aspects such as understanding the feelings of a nation that is complex, includes knowledge, belief, art, morals, law, customs (habits), and other traits were obtained from members of the public. Culture can not be separated from the individual's personality through a long learning process, become the property of the individual concerned citizens. (2) The function of culture is very big area for humans and society. Communities have needs that must be met in living life. Community needs are largely met by a culture that originates in the community itself.
